Therapist-Built Parenting Masterclasses: Inside the CCD Parent Hub
· Parenting · By The CCD Clinical Team · Clinically reviewed by Lisa R. Savage, LCSW
Therapist-built parenting masterclasses, courses, and free guides you can start tonight — no waitlist, no appointment. The CCD Parent Hub, open to parents anywhere.
Some days you've got this. Then your kid detonates in the cereal aisle, or digs in over a single worksheet, or says something at bedtime that knocks the wind out of you — and whatever you meant to do calmly evaporates. You snap. Or you fold. Later, replaying it in the dark, you land on the same thought: I should be better at this by now.
Here's what I'd tell you if you were sitting across from me: you're not doing it wrong. The emotional side of parenting is the part everyone assumes you already know how to do. "Trust your gut." "Enjoy every minute." None of that is any use at 7:45 on a Tuesday when three people are crying and one of them might be you.
So parents get stuck in a weird spot. The advice online is too generic to fit your actual kid. Therapy feels like a bigger move than where you are right now. And in between those two, there's almost nothing.
That empty middle is the reason we built the CCD Parent Hub.
A parenting library your clinicians built
The Parent Hub is online parenting support made by our clinicians — the same team that's worked with Delaware families for twenty years, now open to any parent, anywhere. No waitlist. No intake form. The tools we'd actually walk you through in a session, written down so you can use them tonight.
Real parenting masterclasses, not "5 quick tips"
The masterclasses are the heart of it. These aren't listicles — they're real training you work through at your own pace:
- Raising Children on the Spectrum. Ten modules, neuro-affirming start to finish: communication, sensory needs, reading behavior as its own language, IEP advocacy, and how not to run yourself into the ground doing it.
- The Evidence of You. A confidence course for you and your teen — because you can't compliment a kid into self-esteem, and this shows you what actually builds it.
- Communicating With Teens. The difference between a talk that opens your teenager up and one that ends in a shut door.
- Parenting While Healing. For the parent whose own childhood keeps showing up uninvited at bedtime. Built to sit next to your own therapy, not replace it. Module 1 is free.
- The Strong Family Course. Eight weeks, one short lesson at a time, toward a house that runs on connection instead of volume.
- Loving Your LGBTQ+ Child. Wherever you're starting from, however unsure you feel. Steady, affirming, no judgment.
Free parenting guides for the hard nights
Alongside the masterclasses, there's a stack of free guides for the nights you just need one answer fast — tantrums, anxiety, sleep by age, sibling wars, and discipline that actually fits your kid's age.
What changes when you actually have the tools
So what changes? You stop bracing for the hard moments and start meeting them with a plan. You second-guess yourself less. You yell less, and when it happens anyway, you know how to repair it. Your kid gets the steadier version of the parent they're already crazy about. That's the whole promise.
You don't have to be in crisis to start
Maybe things are good and you want to keep them that way. Maybe you're in the thick of a rough season and can't wait six weeks for an opening. Either way, there's a door here — and it's open to parents anywhere, not just in Delaware.

Are the CCD Parent Hub masterclasses free?
The Parent Hub's parenting guides are free, and you can try the first module of a masterclass at no cost. The full masterclasses and multi-week courses are part of a premium membership.
Do I have to live in Delaware to use the Parent Hub?
No. The Parent Hub is open to parents anywhere. The Center for Child Development is based in Delaware, but the guides and masterclasses are online and work wherever you live.
Is the Parent Hub a replacement for therapy?
No. It's parenting education and support built to work alongside therapy, and for some families it's a helpful first step. It isn't therapy or a substitute for clinical care — if your child needs more, we can help you find it.
Who creates the Parent Hub content?
CCD's clinical team — the licensed child and family therapists who have supported Delaware families for more than 20 years. Every masterclass and guide is built on the same approaches we use in practice.
